Overview & Responsibilities:

We currently have a part time opening for a Lead Funeral Services Director at Palm Northwest Mortuary and Cemetery in Las Vegas, NV. This is the opportunity to be part of the Dignity Memorial® provider network and grow your career in the funeral, cremation and cemetery services business. This position interacts directly with client families during their time of need and is responsible for creating and maintaining a premier level of client family satisfaction. The Lead Funeral Services Director will set-up and assist with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, etc.

  • 2-3 years funeral service experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of HMIS, MS Outlook, Carepoint and all additional software utilized in this position

  • Ability to work with multitude of religions, customs and traditions involving funeral service

  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, and adhere to all company policies and procedures and ensure they are carried out at all times

  • Ability to work with the Licensed Funeral Arranger/Director in planning and coordinating events

  • A flexible schedule including willingness to work weekends is required

  • Perform set-up, tear down and clean up for events inside and outside the mortuary

  • Assist with the transferring of cremated remains and packing/preparation of urns and keepsakes

  • Bi-lingual preferred

  • Take on additional responsibilites and taks as assigned by management
