Overview & Responsibilities:

Position Summary: Provide outstanding Customer Service to external customers. Set appointments for Sales Counselors to visit with families and discuss pre-need cemetery property and funerals by making daily outbound telephone calls according to appointment and volume expectations as stated in this training manual.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers who call the CDC with questions.

  • Make outbound phone calls daily to customers. If calling manually, the daily minimum is 200 calls.

  • Schedule quality appointments with customers by making outbound phone calls.

  • Maintain appointment logs to insure required volume of appointments are scheduled.

  • Call prospective customers regarding the Aftercare Program, and schedule appointments.

  • Purge the system as needed to eliminate outdated information.

  • Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work.

  • Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls.

  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations, and report unsafe practices to management.

  • Act on customer complaints to provide satisfactory resolution.

  • Understand and achieve annual SMART goals.

  • Participate in training and skill development opportunities to improve competency and customer service.

  • Report to work on time and maintain standard attendance.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of six months of telephonic Customer Service experience preferred

  • High School Diploma or GED
