GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Direct and control the operational activities of the crematory, providing products and services allied to the funeral, memorialization and / or disposition of the deceased. Major objectives are to provide the highest quality services and products, to satisfy the need of any client family, to maximize budgeted profit plans for the crematory, and maintain a positive employee relations atmosphere.

Duties must be performed consistent with company mission and values and adherence to company policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSBILITIES

  • Achieve the location’s annual financial and marketing goals while assuring that the location’s operating practices comply with appropriate regulations and Company policies.

  • Review equipment and machinery inspection reports and monitors repairs and replacements.

  • Monitor the inventory of urns and other supplies, including temporary containers.

  • Review the log of services of burial/scatter at sea.

  • Select, train and motivate staff to assure that they create and maintain a premier level of client family satisfaction.

  • Assure that staff members understand location goals, policies and procedures.

  • Practice and promote teamwork among crematory staff.
