An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time Benefits Analyst Position at the Vancouver Corporate Office located above Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, Vancouver, B.C.
This position shall report to the Senior Benefits Analyst and be responsible for researching, evaluating and administering company benefit programs and will function as a liaison between third party providers and associates.
Requirements & Qualifications / Exigences et qualifications
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:
2- 4 years of experience working with group benefit plans and leave programs;
Human Resources Certification (CHRP) or Benefits Certification (CEBS) preferred;
Strong knowledge of benefits administration processes, interpretation of provincial legislation, labor laws and collective agreements;
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with associates at all levels of the company and third party providers;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a strong customer service focus;
Knowledge and proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Workday and PC applications ( Excel , Word)
Detailed oriented and ability to complete assigned responsibilities in a timely fashion with a high level of accuracy;
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and resolve issues promptly and effectively;
Ability to work well in a fast paced environment and maintains composure in challenging situations;
Responds positively and productively to new initiatives or changes in priorities.
